Some great web design/development RSS Feeds

1:59 pm Web Design

I have subscribed to some RSS feeds recently from great web design/development related sites. The subject matter ranges from design inspiration to design/development tips and tricks. If anyone has additional sites I havent mentioned that are useful, please add a comment!

A List Apart – A List Apart is a standard read for web designers/developers. It is updated monthly with web design/development tips and industry trends/issues.

BoagWorld – BoagWorld is a site developed by Paul Boag who is a designer/developer in the UK. He works for a web firm called Headscape and is the host of the great web design BoagWorld (you can find it in iTunes). Paul’s feed consists of articles he finds interesting around the web.

CssTricks – Tips, Tricks, and Techniques on using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).

DevLounge – Primarily focused on development of websites.

Noupe – is a design weblog created to inspire creativity by sharing innovative resources and websites to bloggers, freelancers and web designers. This site provides a lot of free resources like vector art, icon sets, etc.

Outlaw Design Blog – Similar to Noupe, Outlaw Design Blog has great free icon sets, vector art, backgrounds, and fonts.

Smashing Magazine – Quickly becoming a huge web hit, this site provides how-to’s, free resources, just about everything you could ever want. I highly recommend visiting their site at www.smashingmagazine.com.

Vandelay Website Design Blog – Vandelay is a web design firm that hosts a great blog as well (sound familiar?). they provide how-to’s and free resources for designers.

Think Vitamin – is a web design community site that provides industry news, tips/tricks, etc. It is produced by Ryan Carson who has become a household name amongst web designers “in the know.”

Web Designer Wall – Topics focus on web design, tutorials, and modern design trends.

I hope you enjoy these feeds and again, please let me know if I am leaving out any good ones :)
